Packaging:  they have the standard, yet classic black as well as gold packaging. Whenever someone brings up Revlon lipsticks, their normal black casing with golden detailing comes to my mind. This wrapping has now become recognizable with the brand. The packaging is the classic, robust and travel packaging. The packaging in the way provides a cheap vibe. The cap of the lipstick clicks tight and I can simply keep this lipstick in my handbag.

Shade:  “Pink Cognito” is a pure pink lipstick. It is one of the brightest pink shades I own in my makeup collection. It’s a warm-toned pink lipstick with the hints of shimmer in it. It has a sheen to it but the glitter in it don’t look over the top, in its place they only add to the shine. If you previously have pink lipstick, this lipstick can look very attractive and natural on you, but if you have pigmented lips, this lipstick might not display on you. The best way to put on it is with a light pink lip liner underneath so that it pelts the pigmentation of your lips. This lipstick looks like a usual pink on me. This lipstick is a great pick for those with bright to medium skin tones, though, it might not suit those who have slightly dark complexion. All in all, this is a nice everyday wear sort of pink lipstick that you can never go wrong with.

Pigmentation/Texture/ Longevity:  The texture of Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks is quite creamy and absolute smooth. These lipsticks glide on to the lips similar to a dream. This lipstick is very frivolous and feels like a lip balm on the lips. This lipstick doesn’t feel tacky on the lips either. It has an attractive sheen to it, thanks to the micro shimmer in it. This lipstick does not emphasize fine lines on the lips, neither does it highpoint any patchiness or flakiness.

The pigmentation is low. It is very sheer and on the bare lips, it demands good 4-5 swipes. On a lip liner, I can get away with smearing 3 swipes.
