Fashion Inspiration for Brides of 2015

Getting married is probably the most exciting thing for any bride-to-be. There is a lot of preparation to do and you get to try on a lot of beautiful dresses and gowns. Although there was a time when brides used to opt for traditional wedding dresses, the variety in boutiques and stores is simply large these days. It is very natural for every bride to get confused when it comes to deciding what to wear on her big day. This year there are different types of trends which are in for brides whether they want a contemporary or a vintage look:

  • Tulle Skirts

Tulle skirts are really in the bridal fashion scene these days. Well, they were always in fashion but the difference is that now you don’t have to hide them inside your petticoats anymore. Tulle skirts are there to be flaunted in different textures, layers, ruffles and what nots! Rightly termed as the “reverse gowns”, you can wow your groom on your wedding day in a delicate tulle skirt. Reem Acra, Marchesa and Christos design some awesome tulle skirts and pair them with different bodices; some tight fitting other loose.

  • Off Shoulders

Off shoulder bridal dresses hardly ever go out of fashion and this spring they have again made a comeback. Off shoulders give the bride a contemporary as well as a classic touch depending upon the neck line of the gown and the length of the sleeves. Leading designer Reem Acra featured her models in lots of off shoulders in bridal fashion shows this year.

  • Floor-Length Gowns

Floor length gowns have become the latest sensation in bridal gowns this year after Elie Saab showcased them at the Haute Couture Week in Paris. The thing which makes these gowns outstanding is that they are not only available in traditional whites and ivories as well, but also in black, deep blue, blush pink and mint. These gowns have beautiful motifs of tulips and butterflies on them. A perfect inspiration for your wedding gown!

  • Capes

Bridal dresses with capes are the perfect option for a bride who wants to have a traditional look at her wedding. Capes not only flaunt the look of their wedding gowns but are perfect for keeping the bride somewhat warm on a cool day. The cape can be heavy or light, long or short, simple or embellished. Alberta Ferretti and Monique Lhullier have designed some beautiful gowns with capes this year and are a great inspiration for the perfect bridal dress.

  • Colors

Who says that a bride can only wear a white colored dress? If you are a bride who wants to look different on her wedding day, then the best thing to do is to opt for some other color. In this year’s bridal collection shows, leading designer Elli Saab and Monique Lhullier used pink, mint and blush while showcasing their bridal collection. Sareh Nouri showcased a wedding gown in orchid making everyone catch their breath.
